How to Search

When using the Kompass CD, before you begin your search, it would be advisable to think about the following points:

• What type of companies am I interested in ?
• How many companies am I expecting to get from this search ?
• Which pieces of information do I need for each company ?
• What do I want to do with the information, once I’ve selected the companies I am interested in ?

The answers to these questions will help you to decide both the criteria you need to use to construct your search and also the format you will need to select when you output your selected companies.
